Dolby HQ San Francisco Lobby

A custom formatted Dolby Atmos lobby art exhibit. I mixed numerous projects for this immersive art exhibit collaborating with the artists on site. This room has more than 40 speakers that are spread throughout the ceiling in rows from the screens back to the windows.

I would first mix the projects in the studio and then take them into the space and tweak the panning and levels. We used an iPad with DAW controls while moving around the space to get things just right. One of the real strengths of Dolby Atmos is the ability to place sounds in very specific places. I could locate any sound to any one specific speaker.
