What exactly do you do?

I design, tune, and calibrate immersive audio rooms for music and post-production—so the room itself becomes a reliable instrument. I also provide creative audio services for music and audio post-production. I’m unusual in that I do both: I tune the environment and I create in it.

Do you only work in Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos is my specialty (music + post), but I also support stereo and 5.1 rooms. I often calibrate the stereo system in a studio after the Atmos so that they are cohesive in volume and timbre.

Can you tune my home studio or does it need to be a commercial space?

Both. I work with full-time commercial facilities and serious personal studios.

What makes your calibration different from auto-software tuning?

My results come from combining measurement science with years of creative listening judgement. When I tune your room we look at the measurements together, we listen to the results and we make changes if needed. There are many variables and preferences that need to be addressed. Audio tune systems don’t do that and most importantly there results cannot be verified!

How long does a calibration or tuning take?

Typically 1 day on site depending on complexity, number of speakers, and readiness of the room.

Do you do remote work or does it have to be in person?

Room tuning is always best in person.
Mixing and sound design can be done remotely.

Do you only work in California?

No. I travel globally.

What deliverables do I get after a calibration?

You receive:

• a tuned and aligned room

• a completed Dolby DARDT document

• my recommended operational settings for your monitoring chain

• optional treatment / construction recommendations if needed

• workflow recommendations, customized DSP monitor control setup

I don’t have a room yet—can you help me design one from scratch?

Yes. I do room design consulting—preferably before construction or gear purchase.

Do you work with artists, producers, or only facilities?

All of the above.
I tune rooms for labels, studios, post facilities—and I mix for artists, directors, brands, games.

Because every room is different, I quote per project. The value I deliver is not hours punched—it’s the confidence that the room translates.
